At Royal Corinthian Yacht Club
The RCYC at Burnham on Crouch hosted their Flying Fifteen Open on the 13th/14th of June sponsored by Waples Wines. It's a unique event in many ways as everyone is greeted with a mug of coffee/tea and a bacon roll.
HISC June 6th – 7th 2026
This year's bulwark trophy was part of a double handed regatta run by Hayling island sailing club that also included the 5o5 class, the Fireballs, and Merlin rockets.
As this event was not paired with the Southern Championships the attendance of visitors was low with only 4 boats from other clubs.
The weather forecast for the event was challenging and in the end the sailing on the Saturday the 6th of June was cancelled due to the force 7 gusting nine winds sweeping the country.
