Why come to Grafham for a Flying Fifteen Open Meeting?

13th – 14th May

Grafham Water is a very large lake offering unrestricted race courses.

We sail on a 1,600 acre reservoir, 3 miles long and, at its maximum 1.5 miles wide. Grafham Water is renowned as one of the best inland sailing venues in the UK. We are surrounded by flat countryside and few trees making for constant wind conditions.

Easy access from A14 and A1. The club is located about 60 miles North of London in Central England, about three miles from the A1/A14 junction, between Bedford, Northampton, Cambridge and Peterborough.
  • Superb onshore facilities
  • All day café
  • Tractor launching for Flying 15s with jetties for dry launching (wet launching also available!)
  • Plenty of space for rigging and parking
  • Evening meals and bar available
  • Large changing rooms
  • Campervans and tent-based camping.

We have fully trained and experienced race management teams.

We have national level and club sailors attending so you will be racing against all levels.
