If Posting this is the small print

We really appreciate the regular use of the second hand listing pages and we’ve been working hard to ensure that this is easy to use and gives a quick response.

However we’d like to remind you that a little bit of patience is required with these new features, if you upload an advert it WILL NOT appear immediately even if you have paid by card. This because a HUMAN, not a computer needs to approve your advert.

So if your advert doesn’t appear immediately, please don’t up load another. It hasn’t appeared because it hasn’t been approved by one of the two or three HUMANS who do this!

Please note we do not deal with third party contracted web developers to place adverts on this site we only accept adverts from members or Flying Fifteen owners on these pages.

Posting Instructions (PLEASE READ)

You need to be Registered on the site and logged in to be able to post an entry.
Ensure that you have paid the fee HERE, otherwise the advert will not be approved and displayed.
Ensure you are logged in on the Add a Boat page.
Enter a Title and Sub-title for your article.
At the category section you need to select both the Items for Sale main category AND a sub-category in the Organize section below that matches what you have for Sale.
The Summary section should be kept brief and reflect the main details of your advert. This will appear on Facebook and the Home Page.
The Article Details should repeat the Summary information and also include your contact details. If you have created your advert in WORD, please use this feature in the top menu bar and select the "paste from Word" option otherwise what you see may not reflect what you intended. If you wish to have an image in the body of the text, we can add it in for you or if you feel competent then use the edit window to achieve this.
Images go in the Gallery Panel section. Click the button and then "drag and drop" the images you are using into the indicated space. You should select the image you wish to appear on Facebook and the Home Page using the "Set as main article image" button against the required photo.
Finally, when you have entered all the information and your advert is ready to be published click on Request for Approval and the advert will be sent for Approval. We automatically add an expiry date at 6 months after the date of publication. If you require the advert to stay on or be re-submitted please advise us.

An invitation to F15 events in Brittany: 9th-10th and 14th-16th May

Dear UK friends,

Many of us are already looking forward to our two major Interclass Sport Keelboats events in May: the French Quillards de Sport National Championship at the Grand Prix de l'Ecole Navale, and, a few days earlier, the new event called ‘Les Quillards à Dinard’.

At the GPEN, for the first time, we will be based at the Naval Academy site [where the prize giving was in 2024]. The advantages of this northern side of the Crozon peninsula are that in light winds, we should have a little more air than at Morgat, and in breezy conditions, the water is better protected. Above all, as this is a Grade 3 French Championship, FFVoile and the Grand Prix believe they can guarantee us more starts and less downtime between races.

Flying 15, Tempest and Aile, all will be determined to win the INQ 2026 French Championship title. In the Flying 15 class, several of our Belgian friends will be coming, perhaps a few English sailors, certainly a contingent from Dinard and the Paris region, and others from further afield (a sailor from Saint-Raphaël has already announced his attendance). The 2025 champion was a Tempest, in light to moderate conditions, but all our boats - Classic, Silver, Open - have the rating to compete for the title. And the GPEN is a great event - a perfect cocktail of organisation, energy and friendship.

The weekend immediately preceding the Grand Prix, to make the most of our trip to the west, we are adding ‘Les Quillards à Dinard’ to our calendar, a regatta designed with the other classes as a great INQ training opportunity. Date: 9-10 May. Participants will arrive on Friday 8 May and will be able to crane their boats until 3.30pm (depending on the tide). On Saturday, boats will be launched from 9 a.m., with the first warning signal at 12 noon. Briefing and aperitif at the Yacht Club on Friday evening, crew dinner on Saturday evening, prize-giving ceremony on Sunday at 2 p.m. Visitors may leave their boats at the quay for a few days. Starting 23 February, download the Notice of Race from https://yacht-club-dinard.fr, under the Regattas section. Online registration will be available at the same time. Registration fee: €30.
