18th & 19th June 2022

The Club hosted the Flying Fifteen UK National Championships in 2010, 2014 and 2019 with well organised, close, competitive racing in challenging open water in Poole Bay.

Parkstone Yacht Club was established in 1895 and is renowned for its beautiful new clubhouse, outstanding sailing facilities, and being a close community of like-minded sailors.  The Club is ideally situated on the North shore of Poole Harbour, the second-largest natural harbour in the world, with easy access out into Poole Bay and stunning views across Bournemouth, Old Harry Rocks, the Purbeck Hills, and the Needles at the western tip of the Isle of Wight.

Flying Fifteens have raced in Poole Harbour since the early 1950s and the Class was adopted as a fleet at Parkstone Yacht Club in 1996.  They are dry-sailed at the Club and launching and retrieving is assisted by a dedicated pontoon.  There are currently 24 boats in the PYC Fleet and the Club series racing typically has turnouts of 10-18 boats with no distinction being made between boats based on age, Classic and Silver Fleet boats compete on level terms with new boats.

Please come and join us for an exciting regatta and social programme, we look forward to seeing you.
