Broxbourne Sailing Club is holding the final round of the 2023 Southern Travellers Series on October 7th/8th.
A breezy weekend for the fleet
A quality fleet of 20 crews assembled for the Northern Area Championships despite the forecast and a great weekend's racing was had by all.

17th/18th June
The Royal Corinthian Yacht Club held the Allen Flying 15 Burnham Open Meeting over the weekend of the 17th / 18th of June. In contrast to a lot of the country, the RCYC race team led by Edwin Buckley were able to lay on a fascinating 5 race series. A bit like the Gold Cup, there were to be no discards.

Middle Nene is a fantastic place to sail, and the weather was perfect for the 7 boats on the Saturday with a strong NE wind Force 4.

Aldeburgh Yacht Club held the 3rd open meeting for the 2023 Southern travellers on 3rd and 4th June. If you did not attend you missed an amazing event.

All races completed despite a light & shifting breeze, with the final result going to countback to determine the winner

This year’s Gill Flying Fifteen Open meeting at Grafham Water SC also served as event two of the 2023 Southern Travellers Series. It was planned as a two-day event, 13-14th May. In the end the weather gods gave us a great day’s racing on the Saturday and a flat calm on the Sunday.
